You spend most of your day in your office with your colleagues. Work becomes fun with the good ones, whereas some make office a nightmare.
Just like the world outside, an office is a mix of different people with different characteristics. However, there are certain types of people, you are most likely to meet in an office.
1. The Always buzz-y One
The “always – buzzy” ones are too busy in gossiping around. They think it’s their prime job to “spread the word” around.
2. The Boss’ All-Time Favourite
They are like the teacher’s pet you used to have in school. They are always seeking a chance to impress the boss and flatten him with praises.
3. The Ever-Complaining Type
How many of you have come across with this type? “I don’t have this!”, “I don’t want that”- it sometimes gets irritating to be with them at work.
To complain is their hobby. They think they have the toughest life. Even if you try to help them, find solutions, but it doesn’t work. All you can do to help them is lend them your ears and listen to their problems.
4. The Wallflowers
They are often so quite and shy that you only see them working, on their seat. Introvert is the word for them. Sometimes, the quiet ones are deep thinkers and keen observers.
5. The Notorious
They are full of ideas to play new pranks every time. It is not that bad to have a prankster in the office. They help to keep the environment light and lively.
6. The Joke Teller
Mostly, they are the partners in crime with the prankster in the office. They might have some good jokes, the silly ones, old, lame, but the point is they would always have jokes.
7. The Hero
They always get their work done on time and with perfection. Be it staying back in office for late or coming early, they are always ready to devote themselves at work.
8. The Backstabber
They may have deceiving smiles, but you cannot trust them. They can stab you at the back for their selfish reasons.
9. The “Catch Me If You Can” Type
They are thieves in your office. Not literally though, but their habits say so. They borrow your stationery and simply forget to return.
10. The Fashionista
You don’t need to see fashion magazines to know the latest trends. Just have a look at the fashionista in your office.
Co-workers in an office have different personalities and varied mindsets. Love them or hate them, you have to be with them. So accept the differences gracefully and learn to adjust and act accordingly.
