Are Your Employees Wasting Time in Office?

Like every boss, if you are also concerned with the number of tea breaks in office your employees take, then you should get your hand on the new study that suggests tea breaks actually help in unlocking the hidden potential.

Yes, it is true! The research was carried out by the Unilever Food Giant researchers and accepted by a scientific journal. Lead scientist Suzanne Einother said: “These findings appear to confirm what many of us suspect, that the ‘sacred’ ritual of the tea break can effectively boost your mood, which in turn can lead to other benefits such as improved ability of problem solving.” Not every tea break means wasting time in office, rather it helps employees to boost productivity.

Break Is Better Than Low Productivity In The Office

Even a Smaller Business Can Make You Happy, if your employees are happy. It’s a culture that leaders nurture in their people and make them more sincere towards their work. Restricting people for taking restricted breaks doesn’t really help in boosting their morale; instead it becomes a runaway zone, which only helps them feel free from the responsibilities. It is important to encourage casual meetings over tea breaks in office that make people more open to the environment and feel motivated.

•  Prefer co-working office space over fixed office space to make the most of every second of precious working time

•  Setup should be designed so that people can have easy access to essential things in no time.

Why Carry On Wasting Time In Office?

With the passage of time, your business might need to have some changes in the office, which are not easy to make. This also adds to the cost. Then comes the challenges while arranging for everything that is required for the renovation. Serviced offices and Coworking spaces seem to be a smarter and more sensible choice. It is also more economical and logistically well equipped. In addition, you enjoy the instant services from in-house staff that includes admin support, IT support, secretarial services.

There are many other suggestions that can help your employees to eliminate the monotony and come up with creative solutions.

•  Take them for a walk around the block when you need to discuss something important

•  Share fresh and informal talks too, while sharing a perspective

•  Connect over lunch and learn about them in a less stressful zone
