Coworking Space in India
Having a clean and healthy coworkspace is a cornerstone when it comes to running a successful business. We need to make sure that offices at the coworking spaces in India are regularly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to ensure that your clients are happy, healthy, and productive and leave an excellent first impression on potential customers.
Many coworking spaces in India has a dedicated housekeeper a professional cleaning service, which works on cleaning every part of your workspace, whether cleaning carpets, windows, hallways, bathrooms, etc.
Coworking space is a hub where multiple people move throughout the day and touch things that are in the lobby or common areas. These things needs cleaning multiple times in a day. Some of these are: -
1. Telephone
Office phones are one of the nastiest things in any work environment to clean, more buttons the desk phones have, more space for germs to build up. Mouthpiece, receiver, and buttons can be cleaned by tapping with a cotton swab.
2. Keyboard and Mouse
The computer keyboard and mouse, like the phone, are magnets for crumbs, dirt, and all forms of grime. Keyboard can be cleaned by flipping it upside down and giving it a good shake. For the mouse, use a dry toothbrush to remove hard to reach parts of the mouse. At the end, wipe them by disinfectant.
3. Office Kitchen/pantry
The office kitchen in the breakout area is communal. Almost everyone in the office shares the space to prepare or warm their food. This means dozens of hands touch the coffee maker, fridge, water dispenser, microwave, and coffee vending machines every hour. Such heavy traffic increases the risk of dirt and germ to spread in the kitchen; therefore, they should be careful when using the kitchen utensils and appliances. To prevent, they can be cleaned by disinfectant.
4. Common Areas
Everyone has his/her definition of hygiene and cleanliness. Some of the staff may be strict with their health, while others might not care so much. Thus, the large soup of people increases the risk of bacteria and germs spreading throughout the workplace. It can be prevented by sanitizing hands or washing with soup regularly.
5. Common Things
Things that are directly in contact with multiple people at the office like pen near visitor's book or in pantry, photocopier machine or scanner, handrails, doorknobs or handles should be cleaned by disinfectant multiple times to avoid any spread.
Doing cleaning multiple times will help keep the office environment clean and hygienic, and staff too far to be pro-active to make it possible.
