Therefore, when you are in coworking spaces you should be mindful of how loudly you speak and how noisy you are while working.

Coworking spaces have their own etiquettes that you should adopt when working there:

  1. Manage your noise levels: Most professionals in coworking spaces invest in a good pair of headphones. This allows them to mute the chatter that can take place in a busy office. Using your headphones listen to music or white noise also allows you to focus on your own work.
  2. If you are talking to someone nearby do so quietly so as not to disturb others who are working. If the conversation is of a casual nature, you can also take your break and move into the pantry and break-out areas.
  3. If you need to take a call or a notice that you are speaking loudly you can leave the coworking space for an area where it is possible to take these calls.
  4. If you want to take a call or discuss something private or confidential in nature then booking a meeting room for this purpose is a great idea.
